Ken Hagihara Faculty Advisor
Ken Hagihara, APR, Fellow PRSA, is in his 11th year in teaching at Cal State Fullerton and serves as faculty adviser for CSUF PRSSA and co-director for the student-run public relations and advertising agency, PRactical ADvantage Communications. He currently serves PRSA at the national level through his roles on the National PRSSA Faculty Adviser Council and board member on the Universal Accreditation Board.
Ken is the president and CEO of Integrity Public Relations, Inc., a PR agency that specializes in technology and nonprofit public relations and serves on the boards of the CSUF Alumni Association and Pacific Battleship Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from CSUF and his master’s in communication management from USC Annenberg. He served as a public affairs officer in the U.S. Navy and retired recently at the rank of lieutenant commander.
